“Since delivery we have used the stairclimber on average about 2-3 times a week for both climbing and descending stairs each time. Being able to attach the stairclimber to a wheelchair is a great benefit as this reduces the number of moves and lifts of Suzanne required – better for her and us.
The attachment seems very secure and although the stairclimber needs to be lined up exactly with little tolerance for mis-alignment, after a few practices this process has become straightforward.
The controls on the stairclimber are simple, intuitive and easy to use and climbing the stairs is fairly effortless. The Scalamobil is easy to use, of great benefit and makes climbing/ascending stairs possible which we could not do without it.
The build quality seems excellent which inspires confidence and gives the starclimber rigidity and a solid feel. The condition of the Scalamobil on delivery was also excellent, even though it was a pre-owned model, which is appreciated.
