A company that owns a group of care homes in Berkshire has recently purchased two Alber Scalamobil S35 wheelchair stair climbers from Baronmead.
They needed a lift alternative solution to assist residents with moving people up and down stairs when their passenger lifts are not working.
Care Home Group chose the Alber Scalamobil S35 from Baronmead because of its flexibility and ease of use. This model is fully mobile so they can share the unit around the group of care homes when their lifts are not working. This allows residents to carry on as normal, unlike in the past when they couldn’t leave their rooms and would miss vital hospital appointments.
Baronmead have been supplying powered mobile stair climbers since the early 1980s and are pleased to be working in partnership with this group of care homes.
